Hailing from Philadelphia, Wave Lane (aka ShotByWave) is a mixed media artist, using photography as his canvas to show images that capture the emotion of the moment.

Wave first picked up a camera with the intention to try to shoot a music video for a friend, but quickly found out that he enjoyed taking photos even more than capturing video. More than 6 years later, he has taken thousands of photos, photos that have been featured in Philly Weekly (most notable his coverage of the 2020 protests in Philly), plus companies like City Fitness, Widener University, events like FashionWeek in NY, Philly and LA and a wide range of artists and musicians.

From product photos and promotional videos for your business, to concerts to exotic cars and conceptual shoots that bring your wildest ideas to life, Wave aims to leave art behind that people will remember and want to share with as many people as possible.

“My favorite types of photos are ones that capture the moment and feeling that I’m in. If I’m at a festival, I wanna capture that festival in a way that just makes you feel like you were there or if you were it reminds you of what it felt like to be there.”

He’s probably backstage with one of your favorite artists right now or working out of the Taste Creators studio (his music x content studio in Philadelphia).
